1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
CleverAlpha Technologies, LLC is committed to ensuring that SPIN (“the Service”) is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to digital content and strive to meet or exceed applicable accessibility standards.
This statement reflects our ongoing efforts and our commitment to continuously improving the accessibility of SPIN.
2. Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Current Status: We are actively working toward WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Some areas of the Service may not yet fully meet all criteria as we continue to make improvements.
3. Accessibility Features
SPIN includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard navigation: Core interactive elements are navigable via keyboard.
- Semantic HTML: Pages use proper heading structure and landmark elements to aid screen reader navigation.
- Color contrast: Text and UI elements are designed to meet minimum contrast ratios for readability.
- Responsive design: The Service scales appropriately across device sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
- Alt text: Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text where applicable.
- Focus indicators: Interactive elements display visible focus states for keyboard users.
- Language declaration: Pages declare the document language to support screen readers.
4. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that may present accessibility challenges and are actively working to address them:
- Interactive slide viewer: The SPIN slide viewer uses complex animations and canvas elements that may not be fully accessible to all assistive technologies.
- Video content: Some embedded video assets do not yet include captions or audio descriptions.
- PDF and file uploads: Uploaded source documents are processed as-is; accessibility of generated output may vary based on source content.
- Dynamic content: Some dynamically generated SPIN presentations may not include full ARIA live region announcements.
We are committed to resolving these issues in future releases. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please contact us.
5. Third-Party Content
SPIN integrates with third-party services including Google Fonts and analytics providers. While we strive to select accessible third-party components, we cannot guarantee full accessibility compliance of all third-party content or tools embedded in the Service.
