1. Who We Are
SPIN is operated by CleverAlpha Asset Management, LLC (“CleverAlpha,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a California-based company. Questions about this policy go to support@hellomrchuy.com.
2. What We Collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the Service:
- Account info — email address and name, collected when you sign in.
- Uploaded files — PDF and PPTX files you submit for conversion, and Google Slides URLs you provide.
- Generated SPINs — the interactive web experience we produce from your file, stored so it can be shared via its unique URL.
- Usage data — credit balance, SPIN count, timestamps, and feature usage.
- Billing info — processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Technical logs — IP address, browser, device type, and error logs for reliability and abuse prevention.
3. How We Use It
We use the information we collect to:
- Convert your files into SPINs and host them at their shareable URLs.
- Manage your account, credit balance, and billing.
- Send transactional emails (SPIN ready, billing receipts, account notices). You cannot opt out of these while your account is active.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations.
- Improve reliability and fix bugs.
We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or outreach without your explicit opt-in.
4. File Processing & Content Storage
When you upload a file or provide a Google Slides URL, we send it to our AI processing pipeline to extract content, generate layout, and build the SPIN. The source file is used solely for this purpose and is not retained after processing is complete.
The generated SPIN — the interactive HTML output — is stored on our infrastructure so it can be accessed via its shareable URL. SPINs remain accessible until you delete them or your account is terminated.
You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload files containing sensitive personal data, confidential third-party information, or content you do not have the right to share. See our Terms of Service for acceptable use rules.
5. Third-Party Processors
We use a small set of vendors to operate SPIN. Each processes data under a data-processing agreement scoped to providing the Service:
- Google Gemini — AI inference for slide parsing and layout generation. Files are submitted for single-use processing; we use zero-data-retention settings where available.
- Vercel — hosting and serverless function execution.
- Supabase — database (account info, usage, SPIN metadata).
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance.
- Google Cloud Storage — temporary file staging during processing.
We do not share your data with any other third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
6. We Don’t Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your content to anyone. Ever.
We do not use your uploaded files or generated SPINs to train AI models. Our third-party processors are configured to not retain your content for training where that setting is available.
7. Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. On account deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records required for tax compliance).
Generated SPINs are retained until you delete them or your account is terminated. Source files are deleted after processing completes and are not retained.
8. Your Rights
You can exercise any of the following by emailing support@hellomrchuy.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability — request your data in a portable format.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale. We don’t sell data, so the opt-out is automatic.
EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): Our lawful basis for processing is contract performance (you signed up to use the Service). Data transfers to the US are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
9. Children
SPIN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact support@hellomrchuy.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production systems requires MFA and is scoped to need. We are a small team and treat data as we’d treat our own.
No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to support@hellomrchuy.com before public disclosure.
11. Changes to This Policy
We will post updates to this page with a new “Last Updated” date. For material changes — new data we collect, new processors, new uses — we will provide notice via the Service interface or email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
